In the first 10 months of 2025, Ukraine imported 2.8 million tons of fertilizers, which is 24% more than during the corresponding period last year, according to “Infoindustry”.

Liquid complex fertilizers (LC) showed the largest growth — +67.1% compared to last year’s volumes. However, in physical terms, only 36 thousand tons were imported.

Nitrogen fertilizers remain the basis of imports — 1.5 million tons, which is 32.5% more than last year. This is the largest segment by volume.

The only type of fertilizer whose imports decreased was sulfur fertilizers. In 10 months, 35 thousand tons were imported, which is 5.9% less than in 2024.
