MHP Central Hub expands acreage of key crops

In 2025, MHP’s Central Hub planted a record wheat area for the division of more than 25,000 hectares and sowed over 8,900 hectares of winter rapeseed. The crops are in good condition and form a solid basis for the 2026 harvest, ProAgro Group reports.

According to the company, in the 2026 season MHP will focus on key crops: corn (over 52,000 hectares), high-oleic sunflower (over 22,000 hectares), and soybeans (more than 4,700 hectares), while also diversifying its crop structure with niche crops.

The Central Hub is implementing modern farming technologies, including the use of organic fertilizers, the development of precision agriculture, and a gradual transition away from conventional plowing toward mini-till and strip-till practices.

“We are fully supplied with seeds and fertilizers, including products of our own production,” said Serhii Chubenko, Director of Production.

In 2025, MHP also optimized production units at the Central Hub, which helps improve land use efficiency and optimize machinery operations.

As previously reported, MHP achieved a record wheat yield of 7.7 t/ha in 2025, compared to 7.2 t/ha in 2024. Rapeseed yields were slightly lower year-on-year at 3.3 t/ha versus 3.7 t/ha.
