Ukraine’s agricultural exports increased by over 10% in March

In March 2026, Ukraine exported 5.5 million tonnes of agricultural products, which is 10.8% higher than in the previous month, ProAgro Group reports.

Export activity increased across all товар categories following four months of relatively stable shipments.

The structure of agricultural exports in March 2026 was as follows:

  • grains – 3.7 million tonnes (corn – 75%, wheat – 24%, barley – 1%), up 7% month-on-month;
  • oilseeds – 338.8 thousand tonnes (soybeans – 58%, rapeseed – 40%, sunflower – 1%), up 12%;
  • vegetable oils – 506.8 thousand tonnes (sunflower oil – 84%, soybean oil – 9%, rapeseed oil – 7%), up 16%;
  • oilseed meals – 542.6 thousand tonnes (sunflower meal – 73%, soybean meal – 27%), up 15%;
  • other agricultural products – 474.8 thousand tonnes, up 32%.

In the coming months, shipments are expected to remain at least stable, with a possible increase in grain exports. With three months remaining until the start of the new marketing year, exportable supplies are still sufficient, creating a risk of significant carryover stocks.

Earlier it was reported that due to slow sales and shifting export markets in MY 2025/26, Ukraine’s wheat carryover stocks could reach 7 million tonnes — the highest level in the past five years.
