Procurement prices for raw milk in Ukraine continue to fall. According to the Association of Milk Producers, as of November 25, the weighted average price for three grades was UAH 16.25/kg excluding VAT, which is 92 kopecks lower than the October level.
Specifically, the average price of extra grade milk was UAH 16.3/kg excluding VAT — 95 kopecks less than a month ago. Higher grade milk cost an average of UAH 16.1/kg excluding VAT (–90 kop.), and first grade milk cost UAH 15.9/kg (–75 kop.).
The situation sharply contrasts with the autumn of 2024, when high export demand created a “bullish trend” in the market. Currently, the price of extra grade milk at the end of November 2025 is 17.2% lower than during the same period last year.
AVM analyst Heorhii Kukhaleishvili explained that the reasons for the drop are weak demand for finished products, low prices for commodity exchange goods, and active import of cheese. Export supplies of dairy products to the EU remain low, as the European market also shows weak quotations.
