Ukrainian Grain Exports in the 2025/26 Season Approach 20 Million Tons

As of February 6, Ukraine has exported 19.38 million tons of grains and pulses since the start of the 2025/26 marketing year (July–June), ProAgro Group reports.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, export volumes are more than 7 million tons, or 26.7%, lower than as of February 7 last year.

Wheat exports currently amount to 8.494 million tons, which is 2.5 million tons, or 23.3%, less than in the same period of the previous season. Barley shipments reached 1.338 million tons, down by 740 thousand tons, or 35.6%. Corn exports are also significantly behind last year’s levels, totaling 9.224 million tons compared to 12.9 million tons a year earlier, a decline of 28.1%. Rye exports remain minimal, with only 200 tons shipped so far this season, compared to 10.8 thousand tons at the same time last year.

In addition, 39.5 thousand tons of flour (including 38.3 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported as of the reporting date, which is 4.9 thousand tons less than in the corresponding period of the 2024/25 marketing year.

Since the beginning of the current month and as of the reporting date, Ukraine exported 473 thousand tons of grain, including 6 thousand tons of wheat, 3 thousand tons of barley, and 463 thousand tons of corn. Flour exports during this period amounted to 0.7 thousand tons.

As previously reported, Ukraine maintained its position among the world’s top five exporters of organic agricultural products in 2025.
